Your care team is comprised of your clinicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, nurses and many other support staff who work closely together to provide prompt, quality and convenient care for you and your family. By taking a team approach, we strive to ensure you receive the right care by the right person at the right time, every time
When can I expect a reply to my message?
Typical response time is within 1-2 business days.
If my question is urgent, can I get a quicker response time?
Please do not submit urgent questions online. Visit one of our Urgent Care locations.
I want to send a message to a clinician I have seen in the past but his/her name is not on my list. Is there something wrong?
You may send a message to any clinician with whom you have established a treatment relationship within the past 36 months with the exception of our Psychiatrists and Travel Medicine clinicians. If you have not seen a particular clinician within the past 36 months, you will need to make an appointment.
Is my message sent directly to my clinician?
Some clinicians receive their messages directly. Others have the messages sent to their nursing staff first for review. If they cannot assist you, your message will be forwarded to your clinician or another clinician in the department if your clinician is not available.
Why can't I message my hospital providers?
Currently, My Health Online only supports messaging, scheduling, and billing functionality for services performed at certain Sutter Health outpatient care centers and clinician offices. If you have a question about a service you received in a hospital, please contact that facility directly.
